History of Western Art
The brief was to produce a design for a series of books on the history of Western art. The books were divided into sections, each covering a subject such as ‘Domestic Arts’. Each section had a large essay on the subject, which was followed by short essays. The design had to work with this format of a large essay which was the ‘mother’ of a series of short essays.
